Day 1 - UK Departure

Depart the UK with international economy flight to Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

We can also arrange departures from your local airport at no extra cost.

Day 2 - Phnom Penh arrival

Welcome on arrival in Phnom Penh International Airport. You will be greeted after arrivals and then your English speaking guide will transfer you to the hotel for check-in. Then go to visit the Silver Pagoda, Royal Palace.

Day 3 - Phnom Penh

This morning we visit the Genocide Museum Tuol Sleng (former prison during Khmer Rouge regime 1975-1978) and the killing field Choeung Ek. Lunch will be at Bopha Phnom Penh (Titanic) restaurant.

In the afternoon we continue to the National Museum and Wat Phnom. Your day ends with the collective sunset cruise at 05:00 p.m. on the Mekong River.

Day 4 - Phom Penh / Oudong

Today we have a morning drive to Oudong ancient capital. A number of Kings were crowned in Oudong such as King Norodom. Oudong appears as Two symmetrical Hills divided in large and small ridges called Phnom Penh Reach Throap (Royal Fortune Hill) – so named because a 16th Century Khmer King hid national treasury here during war with Thai. We will also visit a Silver Smith in Kampong Luong.

In the afternoon visit buildings of French colonial architecture such as Phnom Penh Municipality, National Library and other such buildings.

Day 5 - Phnom Penh to Kep City

After breakfast today we drive to Takeo province, where we take a boat trip to visit the ancient capital of Angkor Borei during Funan era. Here we visit Phnom Da temples from the 7th century and then head back to Angkor Borei for a visit of the District Museum. Then take the boat trip back to Takeo-Ville. Lunch at the city restaurant . After Lunch we drive to Kep City. Arrival in late afternoon and check in to hotel.

Day 6 - Kep City to Phnom Penh

In the morning we drive to Kampong Trach to visit a cavern complex containing one of the earliest recorded discoveries of Indian artefacts in the country. There is a brick Prasat within the cavern that dates from the Funan period (1st-6th Century). This temple is dedicated to Shiva and provides the first example of solely Indian influenced architecture. Later drive back to Phnom Penh for overnight.

Day 7 - Phnom Penh to Siem Reap

Early morning drive to Kampong Thom for a visit to Sambor Prei-Kuk temples from the 7th century. Lunch at the city restaurant

In the afternoon drive to Siem Reap, visiting on the way an ancient Bridge from the 12th Century in Kampong Kdei District. Upon arrival in Siem Reap you check-in to your hotel.

Day 8 - Siem Reap

This morning we go to visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom and view Complex Bayon, Elephants Terrace, Leper King, Baphuon and Phimean Akas temples.

In the afternoon we continue with various different temples such as Takeo, Ta Prohm, Banteay Kdei, Sras Srang and Krovan.

Day 9 - Siem Reap

This morning we can enjoy breakfast en-route to visit the famous temples of Banteay Srey and Banteay Samre. Lunch will be at Banteay Srei restaurant

In the afternoon we visit the world famous Angkor Wat, followed by sunset views from the top of Bakheng Hill. This evening enjoy a traditional Khmer foot massage for one hour in the city. We then have a special Buffet Dinner at city restaurant to watch Apsara Dance Show.

Day 10 - Siem Reap

Breakfast at hotel. Morning is spent visiting Pre Rup, Mebon, Tasom, Neak Poan and Preah Khan temples.

Khmer Set Menu Lunch at Nest Angkor Café restaurant.

In the afternoon, Experience an Ox-Cart Ride to see Green Village located along the way to Phnom Krom. We visit Wat Athovea before an excursion by boat to the fishing Village at Tonle Sap Lake.

Day 11 - Siem Reap

Today we travel to explore Koh Ker Temple, a former capital in the 10th century of the Angkorian empire, one of the most remote temple sites in Cambodia. There are a remarkable number of religious buildings in Koh Ker region. Lunch at the city restaurant , it will be served at the temple site. After lunch we head back to Siem Reap and visit Boeng Melea temple. Boeng Melea is a spectacular sight to behold, one of the most mysterious temples at Angkor. This 12th Century temple is similar in design to Angkor Wat, located right in the middle of the old Angkorian road between Angkor Thom and Preah Khan in Preah Vihear.
